Semper Fi is happy to annouce that it is now the permanent host for the "Fox & Rat" Virtual Series (FRVS). "Fox & Rat" was the very first online "The X-Files" virtual series, and is one of the very few (if not the only) X-Files virtual series featuring John Doggett as a main character, and the Doggett/Scully relationship. The FRVS website has been updated with a new look, and brand new content for followers (and new-comers) to the series. We're nearing the end of the 8th season in the 2012/13 FRVS Re-Read, and are approaching alien colonization and its aftermath.

I would like to thank all of the people who have been recently visiting this website, the total amount of "hits" I've had at the site in the past month or so have been the best the site has had since, well... since "The X-Files" episodes were being aired for the first time back in 2002! I don't know what has caused the increased interest in John Doggett and the Doggett/Scully Relationship, but to me it is apparent that people are still interested in the character and the relationship. Thank you, thank you, thank you all for your continued support of my "little" site. I'm glad you are enjoying it as much as I am after all these years.

I think i’m became a dsr fan when Doggett received a water in his face. I was however a real shipper and the arrival of a new agent in the series, taking the place of Mulder was difficult to accept for me. Now, I can't understand what I loved in the relationship Mulder / Scully. Partnership doggett / scully seems much more dynamic, balanced. Doggett is a mature man, protective, responsible and diplomat, he is thoughtful and attentive to others (and especially Scully). Unlike Mulder, he wasn’t delayed adolescent behavior. Upon meeting, he saw in Scully what Mulder has never really been able to see, that is to say, a woman. And this is what disturbed the fragile "sanity" of scully. I think she was afraid. Not afraid by doggett, but what she might feel for this man. Scully is a woman right and honest, she carried the child of Mulder, at least we suppose. She was in love with Mulder, and Doggett came into her life, disrupting her unintentionally. I'd love to see their partnership, friendship (ust) continue in season 9, and even see doggett in the second film.
